Responsibilities:• Supporting the corporate forestry and land management system and associated integrations to other corporate systems.• Supporting SalesForce as a Real Estate system and associated integrations to a third-party listings site and backup on premises database.• Performing requirements gathering, system analysis and implementation of systems to meet user needs.• Designing, maintaining and troubleshooting critical GIS infrastructure including GIS Database Servers, Citrix Application Servers, SQL databases, ArcServer instances, and applications.• Researching and deploying new software tools to add to the corporate GIS footprint.• Developing applications and processes to automate tasks such as cross-system data transfers, data processing and manipulation, quality control reporting and contractor data extracts.• Managing and reporting on data related to corporate land holdings, real estate transactions and boundary adjustments for accounting and executive use.Projects:• Assisting in choosing and implementing an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution for system integrations.• Assisting in upgrading accounting and invoicing systems and the associated integrations.• Design and deployment a process management and status reporting system using MS SQL Server and Python applications.• Development of the process and methods used in transferring the corporate forestry data for a major system implementation.• The implementation of ESRI’s Web Adapter application on a server outside of the corporate firewall configured to use a feature service hosted behind the corporate firewall to host a feature on ArcGIS Online.• Debugging various legacy applications such as legacy ASP web applications, legacy Java applications, and C# web services.

Responsibilities:• Coordinating with clients and contractors to determine project specifications, limitations, and deliverables.• Managing field operations, data acquisition, regulatory compliance and data quality standards.• Processing GPS data and generating maps, data files, reports and other deliverables for contractors and clients.• Researching, deploying and maintaining company software and equipment including computer systems, the company website, plotters, survey-grade GPS devices, radios and Unmanned Aerial Systems.• Unmanned Aerial System 2-D & 3-D data collecting, processing and reporting.Projects:• Research and implementation of an Unmanned Aerial System program used to collect aerial imagery and volumes for clients.• Big Sky Carbon Sequestration Project – a project partnering with the U.S. Department of Energy and Montana State University to map the Kevin Dome in Northern Montana to use as a carbon dioxide storage system. We coordinated with the Blackfoot Tribal Preservation Organization, SWCA cultural resource managers, Vecta Oil & Gas, and Paragon Geophysical to perform the seismic data collection and to map the locations of all historic and prehistoric sites eligible for the National Historic Registry.• A Project with the Navajo Nation Oil & Gas Company to survey for a seismic project in very challenging terrain in Southeastern Utah on the Navajo Reservation.

Responsibilities:• Collecting spatial features interpreted from satellite imagery utilizing GIS software in accordance with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Multinational Geospatial Co-Production Program (MGCP) Topographic Line Map (TLM) standards.• Creating finished cartographic products for the United States Department of Defense.• Performing quality control of collected datasets and finished cartographic products.Projects:• Developing and revising collection procedures to optimize data collection and representation.• Aiding in feature and feature subtype definition and interpretation.

Responsibilities:• Generating maps and facility plot plans for air permit applications, wetland surveys, phase I and II environmental site assessments, and remediation projects.• Collecting field data including indoor air quality surveying, soil, water and post-remediation sampling, and GPS data collection.• Developing and maintaining an application to automate Texas Commission on Environmental Quality reporting requirements of EPA Criteria Pollutants from a chemical repackaging client’s sales record.• Executing air dispersion modeling applications including SCREEN 3 and Tanks 4.0Projects:• The creation of an application to automate state required reporting of EPA Criteria Pollutants using sales records in a comma delimited file.• Indoor air quality sampling for the reroofing project on the City of Austin’s Civic Center.• Emission and erosion monitoring on a City of Austin’s remediated landfill.• Soil sampling on various City of Austin Projects.
