    Project managed the implementation of the Emergency Caller Location Information (ECLI) service working with Emergency Services - NZ Police, Fire and Emergency New Zealand, St John and Wellington Free ambulance, Datacom, Mobile Network Operators - Spark, Vodafone and 2degrees, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and Google. All working together to implement Emergency Caller Location Information, a service that provides a probable location from a mobile phone calling 111, using cell tower information and for Android phones, additionally sending more precise SMS data with phone location data to a central database which is then used by the Emergency Services on the back of a mobile call being made to 111.NZ was the 8th country in the world at the time of go live (May 2017) to implement the Android functionality.My role was that of ‘Systems Integrator’, working closely with the Project Director and with the Project Managers from all parties – Datacom, Emergency Service Providers, Vodafone, Spark and 2degrees to ensure their delivery of their component was on track as per agreed milestones for the entire system to work and where needed phase the delivery timing to bring all components on board.It was a huge privilege to work on this project and to attend the media launch at the Wellington Police Central Station in May 2017 hosted by Superintendent David Trappitt with Ministers - Deputy Prime Minister Paula Bennett, Simon Bridges and Peter Dunn where they praised the team for the delivery of this important service to assist saving lives of New Zealanders.

    I managed two projects while at ACC:1) Integrated Service for Sensitive Claims (ISSC)A broad project comprising five work streams (up to 40 project team members). A Ministerial directive date for implementation, I was brought in as the fifth Project Manager with eight months remaining to get the project on track and deliver by the due date (Nov 2015). Tension within the team was high, missing clear guidelines, direction and leadership. I planned the overall delivery schedule of all work streams, provided structure and worked with the teams to define a clear work plan.The project created ‘ISSC’, a new service to provide a better service for people who have experienced sexual abuse. When clients contact ACC to start counselling to assist them to work through this process, the ISSC system is designed to manage this in a more caring, sensitive and respectful way to the previous system and to provide a graduated plan to aid and monitor client progress.The project involved an RFP process and evaluated both suppliers and providers in the new model. There was a technical stream of work to update the current EOS system along with creation of the website for support https://findsupport.co.nz. A restructure of the Sensitive Claims unit was also required to manage the new ISSC model affecting 120 staff applying for the revised jobs.2) Health and Safety at Work Act changesIn April 2016, changes were made to the Health and Safety law in New Zealand and this affected products that ACC provide to customers. I project Managed a team to respond to these legislative changes by reviewing and amending existing publications and preparing the current workplace safety products for these changes including customer updates and communications. The role also included working with WorkSafe as a representative for ACC on the design and execution of the pilot for the Safety Star Rating System (SSRS) in conjunction with the review of the future of the Workplace Safety products.

    I managed two projects while at ANZ:1) SQL Database Migration ProjectReview and assess the SQL databases (over 100) to be decommissioned or upgraded to a later version of SQL. I planned the communication, approval and execution of the databases to be decommissioned and the SDLC steps for removal. Planned the migration path for the databases to be upgraded and steps for each of these. Worked with other teams such as the NZ Simplification programme to ensure no clashes with action being taken elsewhere in the Bank. Successfully migrated the databases through the SDLC via a release schedule into the production environment. Worked closely with Datacom as they provided the testing to each database upgrade.2) Tallyman Application - Technical Project Manager Managed the technical aspects of the project which consisted of release deployments from the vendor Experian, based in Australia to increase the application suite and functionality. I was responsible for the implementation, testing and deployment of each release (12 application releases) along with the data migration from various systems into Tallyman to centralise the recoveries and debt management systems. In addition, I was responsible for the series of test runs within the New Zealand Simplification programme which was to merge the National Bank of New Zealand and the ANZ applications and tested the Tallyman application and made changes to ANZ.
