I ran my own business for almost four years (with a few part time jobs on the side). I started with freelance writing projects. I expanded to include event planning and audio visual technician contracts. I completed my contracts in June 2014 in preparation and to train for teaching English in China!

Analyzed literary work submitted from national and international poets, authors, and essayists seeking publication in West Branch.Contributed analytical reviews and opinions about the literary works at bi-weekly editorial meetings to help decide if submissions fit the criteria for publication in the magazine.Involved in contract and legal processes of publishing new literary works.Interviewed Susan B.A. Somers-Willett, a contemporary poet who has published two books of poetry.Published the interview as a feature on West Branch's website.
