Accountable for:- Growth and profitability of the Business Group- Leadership of local and international blended teams delivering environment, water, advisory, safety-related projects, services and tenders in the middle east, including UAE, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia- Business development and tendering, including assembling project teams from across GHD's international offices for delivery of Middle Eastern projects- Project Delivery in Project Director and Project Manager roles depending on projects- In-house (seconded) advisory Services for the Economic and Technical Regulator of the Power and Water Sectors across Abu Dhabi Emirate.

As Gold Coast Water’s Manager of Strategy and Business improvement, Chris led functions including:- Strategic planning, governance, risk, and business performance reporting.- Business Management Systems (Quality, Environment, OHS, Water Quality and emergency & Incident management, and security).- Water and Sewerage Infrastructure Capital works delivery programme.- Scientific Services Laboratory business.

As Gold Coast Water’s Manager, Environment and Business Systems, Chris’ reformed and expanded GCW’s business management systems to integrate Quality, Environment, OHS, Water (Product) Quality and Emergency Management systems and Business Continuity Management. This reformed system was recognised in the 2009 Queensland Engineering Excellence Awards as the winner, reports, procedures and systems.
