My background is as a commercial litigator and arbitrator. I have been involved in numerous large group actions, particularly in the consumer and anti-trust space, including claims supported by litigation funding. I have advised clients in arbitrations in a variety of forums including the LCIA, ICC and ad hoc tribunals. I chair our commercial ESG group, advising our clients on their ESG legal needs. In this role, I draw on my own experience as a contentious ESG litigator, having advised clients on claims relating to environmental pollution, climate change risk and business and human rights. I also help clients with risk mapping and mitigation, human rights due diligence and designing and implementing grievance mechanisms.I am the partner lead of the Norton Rose Fulbright Australia pro bono practice, focusing on legal projects that:- benefit the environment or increase the sustainable use of resources; - protect human rights, at a national and international level;- support First Nations peoples; and- use strategic litigation to deliver wide-reaching positive social change. I am dual qualified in England and Australia.
