I collected the requirements and started to write the new policy in collaboration with trading and compliance.Multiple workshops with the desk heads are required to update their execution policies to bring them in line with regulatory expectation. There is also an element of reporting the top 5 Venues each year for which we are working closely with Invesco IT.

Working in Regulatory Operations, responsible for delivery of; - Timely Confirmations Risk Mitigation regulationsManaging the project to ensure that Deutsche Bank AG was compliant with the EMIR and Dodd Frank timely Confirmations regulations by implementing (where relevant) IT, process and behavioural changes across all 5 major asset classes (FX, Commodities, Equity, Credit and Rates). The approach involved initial root cause analysis performed by the line to identify major blockers then analysis and subsequent stakeholder engagement to determine the necessary solutions to effect compliance. Weekly progress reports kept stakeholders updated and monthly steering committees provided the guidance on issues and next steps. - Internal OTC confirmations Managing a project to deliver the full compliance of internal confirmations under EMIR and Dodd Frank, Deutsche Bank AG was required to confirm, in writing, all of its intercompany transactions (intracompany transactions were exempt). Working with Finance and Derivative Operations full trade populations from all trade capture systems were filtered to understand the intercompany population. Solutions (either existing or new) were then implemented to ensure that legally permissible confirmations were put in place to confirm each transactions. The internal audit point against this item was successfully closed.
