I currently work as an Insurance Investigator within the Fraud & Complex Loss team of Lloyds Banking Group - General Insurance.The role involves, but is not limited to, the following:- Desktop Fraud Investigation- Third Party Investigation Management- Fraud Network Analysis- Coaching & Development- Fraud strategy developement The role requires a strong level of fraud knowledge, not only in terms of internal processes and investigatory knowledge but also of the wider requirement to understand and comply with fraud legislation such as The Fraud Act 2006, the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, and the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.I am also required to have a strong working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 1998 as a considerable element of my role involves dealing with, and making, requests for information held by third party organisations such as the police, Local Councils, and the Department for Work and Pensions.I also have good project management skills; having had involvement in several Lean Sigma projects as Yellow Belt support.
