Cooper Nuclear Station

• Responsible for overall project management function at Cooper Nuclear Station. Provide leadership, coordination and management of the Nuclear Projects Department during transition from a strong matrix organization to weak matrix. Develop and implement a change management strategy to develop buy-in from functional area managers to integrate project management within the site organization. Supervise a team of project managers who are responsible for assigned Capital Projects from inception through execution. Currently oversee $145M of budgeted projects and make sure they are well managed, monitor progress and report changes to stakeholders in a timely manner. Manage the development and maintenance of project management policies and procedures in compliance with industry best practices.

Serve as the battalion's "chief of staff", and second in command, must be prepared to assume the duties of the commander at any time. Directly responsible to the battalion commander for integration, synchronization, development, and product development for the battalion staff. Responsible for the overall integration of units subordinate to the battalion. Focus the battalion staff function on support for units subordinate to the battalion. Serve as the primary synchronizer of staff actions, both in garrison and in the TOC.

• Provide Command and Control for Soldiers of the 623rd Engineer Company. Responsible for the training, mission readiness, operations, mobilization, deployment, and strategies to achieve the highest possible readiness posture for the unit. Provide an intent, vision, purpose, and direction to ensure the success for the unit and the retention of Soldiers. Responsible for the supervision of the Soldiers and the welfare of their families, including the operation of the unit Family Readiness Group (FRG). Oversee the development of the mobilization planning and training to facilitate a safe and successful deployment. Develop a plan to incorporate the local community’s support of the 623rd Engineer Company and provide a sense of community pride in the organization.
