I’m a junior Digital Communications and Social Media major at Cabrini University. In my time there so far, I’ve gained skills and knowledge in video production, social media marketing, and journalism. My main area of interest is journalism. This past year as a sophomore, I served as a staff writer and assistant editor-in-chief for Cabrini’s student-run newspaper, The Loquitur. I was selected to become the editor-in-chief, a position I’ll hold for the 2023-24 school year. I’m in charge of overseeing a class of 22 staff writers, as well as the rest of the editorial staff. I’m in charge of assigning and editing stories, managing deadlines, time, and logistics, and coordinating with the editorial staff and our faculty advisor to lead the Loquitur team. I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead this publication, and I’m excited to begin this new role in the fall.
