About Chris Prentice-Popken

I'm a passionate strategist and creative with 20 years of interdisciplinary experience creating and managing solutions to business, social and aesthetic design challenges. My roots and special expertise are in the cultural sector, with agency and independent consulting experience in a range of industries and on a variety of digital and non-digital initiatives. As a quick study, generalist and diplomatic force on most teams, I'm exceptional at seamlessly entering projects mid-stream to complete discrete tasks when internal resources are unavailable. In longer engagements, clients seek my external perspective and methodological leadership in scoping projects, leading and performing discovery, delivering insights and strategy, and facilitating stakeholder discussion around the prioritization and implementation of new ideas and their features.Services include:- Product and service development, with an emphasis on user/audience requirement discovery, and utilizing competitive and comparative analyses and design thinking methods to fuel differentiated and/or innovative solutions; - Quantitative and qualitative research, with an emphasis on lean, field-based methodologies;- Writing and general editorial services, including content strategy, curricular design, persona and user story generation, and requirements documentation based on qualitative and quantitative data;- Teaching and facilitation around creative processes that help stakeholders apply brand and audience insights to decision-making throughout their development process.
