I am a Partner in the Burges Salmon Real Estate Dispute Resolution team and I act for clients across all sectors on contentious and risk management issues relating to their real estate portfolios. My work covers all aspects of property disputes but I have particular experience and expertise in acting for real estate development and retail clients. I also regularly advise operators and landowners on telecoms-related issues.I have significant experience in the following practice areas:Landlord and tenant matters including contested and uncontested lease renewals, rent review, service charge disputes, break options and dilapidations;Freehold property issues including title issues, restrictive covenants, easements and land options;Development issues including disputes relating to development agreements and options agreements;Tenant Insolvency and LPA Receivership;Professional negligence claims against property advisers; andProperty Damage Insurance claims.
