Have spent my entire life in and around the golf world beginning as a young southern man growing up on a little 9-holer in Fulton Mississippi. Secured a degree in Agronomy from Mississippi State University in 1988 and have spent my career building and maintaining golf courses at all levels of maintenance, private and public. Highly skilled in all aspects of golf course maintenance and have a sound knowledge of other categories of golf course operations. Currently I am the sitting golf course agronomist for Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Rockwall, Tx where in 1992 I held my first chief agronomist position as grow-in and later operations superintendent of the facility. Since then over the past thirty years, I have served as chief agronomist for seven golf facilities one of which operated three golf courses as well as a resort. In returning to Buffalo Creek I have come full circle in life returning to a golf course I truly love. In addition to my golf endeavors, over the past seven years I have also operated a small lawn treatment business in and around Rockwall called Fairway Lawns of Texas. I also dabbled in golf course agronomic consultation and hope to expand my business in that category in the future!
