Cyber Policy Analyst
CurrentLead the Department of the Navy Office of the Principal Cyber Advisor's (DON PCA) policy and strategy, strategic communications, and legislative affairs portfolios.Develop, write, and implement the inaugural Department of the Navy Cyber Strategy.Coordinate Navy and Marine Corps responses to Congressional reporting requirements from the National Defense Authorization Act in partnership with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, military services, and intelligence community members.Produce briefs and studies on Navy and Marine Corps cyberspace activities for the House and Senate Armed Services Committees. Prepare senior leaders for public speaking engagements. Write speeches, provide effective talking points, research key focus areas, and coordinate media requests.Execute principal level coordination within DON on DoD cyber policies and strategies. Started this position as part of the John S. McCain Strategic Defense Fellowship and converted to a permanent civilian position in August 2022.
