Teamwork also publishes the VetIndex business directory and runs the VETcpd Congress in Exeter each year, plus the Veterinary Osteoarthritis Congress (VOACON) in May.I began my career working on veterinary, dental and leisure industry titles, moving on to animal health while editing Dental Practice and The Dental Technician and contributing to other titles as a freelance writer.Additionally, I have worked with several marketing and design companies on a freelance basis, ensuring their presentations and professional communications are the best they can be. I have also edited several fiction and non-fiction books and, through word-of-mouth recommendation, have edited several postgraduate theses for a number of UK and European private clients.As a professional interviewer, I interviewed celebrities including the late entertainer Bruce Forsyth, comedian Paul Foot, designer Wayne Hemingway, cricket legend Jonathan Agnew, Outnumbered co-creator and writer Andy Hamilton, explorer and adventurer Dave Cornthwaite, and many more. My interviews and other commissioned articles (well over 150) have appeared in publications all around the world, from newspapers in New Zealand and the US to in-flight magazines, lifestyle glossies, LGBT publications and so on.In events management, we ran the Caravan Extravaganza and trade show at The Lawns (Hull) and Beaulieu estate for 20 years, and we now manage a host of smaller CPD events.In my spare time I write stories and music.
