The project was delivered ahead of schedule and on budget to produce an incremental 4 million tonnes of iron ore and approximately A$1 billion revenue in FY21 and an additional A$2 billion of operating revenue in FY22.- After four significant safety incidents/potential fatalities occurred, developed an application to increase structural asset health across the business. The application increased visibility and reporting of asset defects, enabling improved maintenance, reliability, and safety. This application is now being rolled out across all Fortescue sites.

Ore Car Engineer working Fly in Fly out from Port Hedland. - Promoted to Engineer position two years ahead of standard career path (bypassing graduate engineering program)- Managed a project critical to achieve Fortescue’s FY20 production targets by accelerating the A$32 million capex ore car manufacture. Relocated to China to ensure project timetable was achieved. Project delivered an additional approximately A$1 billion in revenue in 2nd half of FY20 and double that in FY21. Awarded Fortescue’s highest award, “True Colours”, in recognition of this achievement.- Reduced rolling stock breakdown delays by 40%, from July 2018 to July 2020, increasing revenue by an estimated A$130 million per year.Developed and implemented a new linking mechanism for all iron ore cars to eliminate failures of these links, saving the company an estimated A$370 million per year in breakdown delays.
