Help Desk Responsibilities:•Manage a ticketing system and communicate the status of issues to customers.•Troubleshoot technical issues over the phone or by logging in remotely to client computers and escalate issues to senior staff by relaying information from customer to diagnose the problem.•Perform regularly scheduled server and workstation maintenance, server and workstation migrations and other client projects.•Troubleshoot advanced issues with third party line-of-business software for clients, and work with vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.•Install and maintain client backup solutions including on-premise and off-site cloud backups.Network Technician Responsibilities:•Setup new workstations in a Windows Active Directory domain environment.•Install and configure client specific applications, and document throughout the process.•Server administration to create and manage users, file shares, and email accounts.•Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables. •Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms, and install patch panels.•Install firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices such as VoIP, PBX, ATA.Tel-com Technician Responsibilities:•Work with client to set expectations and pre-program Star2Star phone system with ring groups, call queues, automated attendants, and performing SNA testing on the ISP circuit before shipping equipment.•Work with the client to ensure the proper network infrastructure is in-place to support the phone system. Recommend and implement solutions to support the phone system. •Responsible for all on-site Star2Star could-based VoIP system deployments, backbone infrastructure, PBX programming, and permanent phone placement.•Use trouble-shooting skills, advanced diagnostic tools and experience to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in resolving issues with Internet Service Providers

•Maintain multiple servers running major applications such as: Active Directory, Symantec End Point, Symantec Backup Exec, Microsoft Exchange, Terminal Services•Run and terminate CAT5e cable in numerous types of environments.
