My job title changed in October 2019 due to the increased responsibilities and programs that I managed. I was hired as the first Volunteer Coordinator for HealthPoint. In my position, I manage/coordinate volunteers, students, residents, interns, externs, observations, employee shadowing, and rotations within HealthPoint. A significant portion of my job is managing, recruiting, and facilitating students for Behavioral Health (Doctorate in Clinical Psychology), Social Work (MSW students), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Registered Nurses (RN), Pharmacy (students and techs), and Dental Residents. I also manage, organize, and facilitate agreements with all the colleges, and universities for all the learning/education-based programs. I also act as an ambassador for the organization in various capacities including job fairs and various speaking engagements. I have assisted with various marketing strategies including Facebook, Linkedin, brochures, HealthPoint's website, newsletters and implementing events (job fairs, 5k, and Annual Fundraising Dinner). When I started at HealthPoint, I developed, managed, and started the AmeriCorps Program at HealthPoint. I've also worked on creating new "education" based programs to get individuals interested in working in the community health field which has led to many people being hired on as staff. A part of my duties also includes updating the donor/communication database (Salesforce), managing contractors, and working with donors. Since 2019, I have been tasked with coordinating various projects within Talent Management (HR) Department including improving employee onboarding, redesigning employee recognition, and coordinating the employee scholarship program.HealthPoint is a community health center that serves approximately 100,000 patients and has 20 locations throughout King County, Washington. HealthPoint provides medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and other social services to its patients and the general community.

Wilmington, Delaware

As the first Volunteer Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County, I coordinated and managed over 3,700 (annually) construction, office, event, and ReStore volunteers. In the first year of managing the program, I grew the volunteer program over 218%! I worked closely with individuals, corporations, organizations, businesses, and other nonprofits on a regular basis about engagement and partnership. I spoke at both large and small occasions to talk about Habitat for Humanity and solicited numerous donations (financial and in-kind). My main role was to coordinate volunteers, but also to create, develop and implement new programs and assist with project and program management. As such, I organized and developed new events such as Blitz Builds (500+ volunteers at a 1-day event), AmeriCorps Build-A-Thons (week-long events), Framing Frenzies, Road Shows (building a Habitat house at the location determined by the donor), Special Build Days, and an AmeriCorps Construction Training program. During my tenure, I exponentially grew established programs such as the Collegiate Challenge Program (week-long service trips from 5 to 23 registered groups) and expanded the Women Build program (from 8 attendees to 500+ attendees). I also managed, coordinated, interviewed, and trained the AmeriCorps (State and National Civilian Conservation Corps) Teams/Members and the Lutheran Volunteer Corps Members. I developed and updated marketing materials including fliers, the affiliate website, and Facebook. I also facilitated and managed special construction projects including the development of the Habitat for Humanity Wilmington ReStore, demolition projects, home remodels, and renovations to the Habitat Administrative Offices. I managed/updated the donor database (Donor Perfect) and managed reports related to the software. I was also responsible for implementing, converting and updating the volunteer tracking software to VolunteerHub (from VolunteerUp).

Wilmington, Delaware

Worked on Habitat construction sites supervising volunteers and the construction of homes. During my time as an Assistant Site Supervisor I both assisted other Site Supervisors as well as supervised my own job sites and projects. I often was responsible for managing duties and tasks for 5-15 volunteers on a daily basis.

Kirkland, Washington

Spent two summers (June-September) working as the Dock Master at the Kirkland Marina as an ambassador for the city and assisted boaters. During September-May, I worked at the Peter Kirk Community Center at the Front Desk by enrolling individuals into classes and assisting with programs held at the community center.

Completed a 5 month internship with Frederick County Parks and Recreation Department. I assisted full-time staff with special events (golf tournament, 4th July, Kite Flying Festival, and Bark in the Bark, etc.), sports camps, trips, reviewing marketing content, and various other activities.
