Chris Schmitt is a Site Reliability Engineer at Covestic at Covestic. Colleagues describe them as "Chris is a class act employee and a key anchor to any team. I had the pleasure of having Chris in my Covestic engineering team for over 5 years. During this time I watched him grow his career from a Service Engineer (SE) to an extremely valuable Service Reliability Engineer (SRE). Chris comes to work everyday with a positive attitude and is more than willing to help out his colleagues, customer, and me. He takes great pride in his work and his deep dive investigations are on point along with a well thought out solution and relevant data. He has delivered critical service level projects including designing core features for WinPatch, increasing the efficiency of other teams with SCOM automation, migrating services to Azure, SCOM custom management pack creation, and so much more. I truly cannot think of a project owned by the team that he was not helping with in some way. Chris will truly be missed on the team. I personally will miss hearing his positive attitude cracking through tense solution discussions and seeing him mentor colleagues through frustrating investigations. He lifts up everyone in the team and is one of the employees that makes my job as a manager fulfilling. I hope to work with him again in the future."
