I was the centre manager for the Walsall branch of Access to Business. I helped to establish the Access to Business brand in Walsall and to build up the local client base in the area. I explored partnership opportunities and established links with a number of potential partner organisations. I supported business advisors operating from the Walsall branch and helped to ensure that they were able to deliver effective advice to clients. I also ran Barclay's Ready for Business workshops and my own portfolio of business support workshops for potential entrepreneurs.

I developed and was then responsible for overseeing all of the local authority's business support programs, from business grants to procurement portals.

I specialised in energy efficiency advice, accessing funding programs and grants for renewable technologies, insulation and heating systems. I also developed an in depth knowledge of insulation materials, eating systems, boiler types and renewable systems.I oversaw HECA analysis for many of the UK local authorities, and was responsible for delivering against many SLAs which were in place with West Midlands local authorities.

I developed and automated the CRM system for the Devon EEAC so that it linked directly with the central system based at Hestia in Birmingham. I also provided advice to householders regarding energy efficiency measures, heating systems and renewable technology, and the funding available to support their installation.
