  Originally joined Progress' Professional Services organisation to work with OpenEdge and had a particular focus on architecture, web services and web user-interfaces, using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This was followed by a period specialising in SOA and enterprise integration using SonicMQ, Sonic ESB and Actional products with all sizes or organisation, from small software houses to FTSE 100 companies and Government Departments. Engagements covered all aspects of the software development lifecycle and management of production systems, but typically focused on helping customers establish a centre of excellence and sound development practices. More recently have returned to Progress' core products, concentrating on modernising applications, architecture and processes. This typically involves adopting an agile approach to producing applications with test-driven development, automated testing and continuous integration. Such assignments are usually related to creating web applications for deployment both on-premise and in the cloud.
