Work with the Leader, Members and staff on various public policy and legislative matters, including the drafting and introduction of bills and sponsor’s memos and tracking bill status thereafter.Prepare talking points for the Leader and members on various legislative topics. Work with legislative staff to create, edit and distribute fact sheets on significant topics, and created a Weekly Legislative Update document sent to all Conference Members detailing important Committee and Floor activity for the week.Assist with floor debate and procedural strategy. Draft reports related to statewide task forces. Supervisory role overseeing employees and interns.
