My career at Milltech began as an entirely office based IT Administrator and Network Technician. Over time I became more interested in the human aspect of the role and the actual sale of solutions to my clients. I eventually handled everything from the proposed sale, implementation of solutions and finally the after sales product support.My role included.

I was part of a team of four responsible for the rollout of GroupWise 5.5, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 and MS Office throughout the Cape Town City Council head quarters and its remote sites.The rollout covered more than 3000 desktop machines and was a complete success as we finished the project two months prior to the estimated time of completion.

I was part of the PQ Africa team where my main task was the rollout of Microsoft Outlook 98 across the entire network of more than 10,000 desktops at the Sanlam office in Bellville.My duties included the backing up and conversion of the client’s old email and setting up their new account.
