I'm currently a Network Operations Center Technician for Vision Net INC, a technology solutions provider and telcom focused on rural network connectivity solutions in the telcom industry. In this role I get to be the face of the companyin many cases, interacting directly with the public. Our most exciting work to date has beenproviding front line support services for various local agencies which have generated not onlygenerous complements to our company but also a feeling of being part of a winning teamBefore joining Vision Net I worked for a company called New Wave Media. They producedmedia imaging services and radio broadcasting. There I was the IT director and my most excitingmoment in that position was being the mind behind connecting the automation systems and billing systems to create a simple but effective broadcast machine. If you ever have the opportunity to get into radio, I would highly advise you try it.I later went on to also serve as the Broadcast Engineer and IT Manager at Community communications.This position was with a small independent broadcaster that had it's challenges. I was excited to be in a position to use my vast knowledge to overcome many of those challenges and streamline that operation.I have 25+ years in the industry in which there is no school or education that could compare.I am consistently improving myself as well.
