Creating bespoke re-constituted Architectural Stone products for the construction industry. Supervising a busy production workshop and pattern making shop to create a range of bespoke stone products based on architect's drawings, and solving design challenges to meet client's requirements within limitations of production methods and processes. Also developing the company's premises to create new access, workshop, office and staff welfare facilities.

12 months industrial placement as part of Civil Engineering degree. Working at setting out, site, drainage, snagging and accommodation works engineer on £60M A30 Exeter- Honiton highway dualling project. Responsible for managing two foremen, a large team of site operatives and plant as part of day to day operation for 2km zone of project, including earth-works through to completed hand-over. In completion and final hand-over phase of project, working across entire 22km project as snagging engineer, dealing with outstanding contractual and construction matters, and liaising with land-owners and agents to finalise sign off and all outstanding works. Following placement, competitively selected and sponsored by Balfour Beatty Major Projects division for remainder of degree.
