Chris brings his proven construction management and project management skills as both a contractor and client-side consultant to the successful delivery of projects. In a career spanning over 30 years he has directed and driven project teams, and managed project outcomes, for the successful delivery of a range of projects that has extended across infrastructure, retail, education, commercial, residential and hospitality projects.Many of these are significant projects in scale and value. They have involved complex aspects of development, design, planning, procurement, construction and handover. Chris’s attention to detail and fundamental expert understanding of the project delivery process from start to finish has led to several of these projects obtaining industry awards for Excellence in Construction, and AIPM awards for the Best Project Management project in their respective categories. Chris combines strategic and technical skills, uses management discipline and takes a pragmatic approach based on his industry experience to manage the project. Recent large projects managed by Chris show his ability to ’go beyond’. He managed large teams of directly engaged staff and garnered collective support from large consultant groups, delivering to extremely tight timeframes and meeting the projects’ product and investment objectives.Chris is a relationship builder who works hard to create a team environment with all parties focussed on the common outcome of delivering to the project brief. He has a particular interest in complicated and complex construction and project issues and has been called upon several times with positive effect to address strategy, resolution, negotiation and implementation of distressed or defective projects.
