Responsible to design, configure, install, maintain, and repair YCOE local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). Also responsible for servers, virtual server infrastructure, and all related network operations; assuring access and network connectivity with local and remote sites, districts, and the Internet; and assuring network security and network monitoring. Supports Districts as needed with advice, network troubleshooting, server repair, and Active Directory maintenance. Participates in equipment selection, and ERATE processes.

Provides support and configuration for a complex network of Juniper, Cisco, and HP equipment under the direction of the Network Architect. Works with Windows Servers in a VMWare environment. Provides assistance, training, tools, and workflow documents to Level 1 and Level 2 support specialists as needed.

• Configures, installs, and maintains local network hardware, software, and telecommunication services such as personal computers, systems software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, and Internet connections.
