As a child and adult I enjoy taking things apart, figuring out how they worked and then putting them back together. I've used this analytical way of thinking and applied it to a consultative sales and customer service approach. I truly enjoy listening to customers, discovering what exactly they need, and then providing them with a solution. I am unwilling to sell or support a product that is not going to solve the clients needs.Selling a technical piece of equipment is not an easy task, especially when the person you are speaking to doesn't understand exactly how it works or why they need it. To be able to break it down into easy to understand terms and logic requires a special talent; I have been able to excel in this area.Problem solving from a technical troubleshooting standpoint is also an area of expertise of mine. Understanding the operation of internal combustion engines, generators, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical operation have given me the tools necessary to provide the highest level of customer support to my clients. I have been able to provide this high level of support over the phone and hands on.Lastly and maybe the most important part of sales to me is the relationships I have built with many of my customers. Making new friends and building long term relationships with them is very important to me and that's why I get so passionate about providing them with the highest level of service I possibly can. It means a lot to me when a customer/friend invites me to join them on a golf outing, or a fishing and hunting trip. I began my career in Thermal Remediation as the National Service Manager, I was responsible for providing over the phone and hands on product support to many different markets. The high level of customer service our end users received led to repeat sales and word of mouth referrals, which helped grow the product line to the most trusted brand in the industry after 8 years. As customers came to appreciate the level of support they received from me and Temp-Air, it naturally led to a sales component being added to my responsibilities. I began attending tradeshows, guest speaking at meetings, and conducting application and technical training. During my time as Service Manager I developed maintenance protocols and manuals, an internal service support team, and I was a critical part of on-going product improvement and development with our engineering team. Since 2013, I have continued in my role of managing product support and development, but also now oversee the sales operations of the product line. This includes planning and setting the annual budget, analyzing monthly P/L statements, growing product sales, and developing marketing strategies to build our presence in domestic and international markets.
