AWS certified as both a Solutions Architect and SysOps Administrator and supporting a wholly cloud based solution my role includes both application and infrastructure support for a major Governmental project.Utilising tools such as Terraform and Puppet for infrastructure-as-code and configuration management allows me to play a key role in applying CI/CD practises. As well as this I also have experience in building and supporting of monitoring systems such as Grafana and Nagios.Along with administrative level support I also bring a high level of second line support skills - investigating incidents, shell scripting and problem and incident handling

Working primarily on Linux and Solaris based servers my role includes build and support for the main infrastructure of TD Direct Investing's online web trading platform. This includes but is not limited to Linux (Red Hat) / Solaris system administration, Websphere Network Deployment Manager administration, J2EE code deployment, IBM HTTP Server administration. Apache Tomcat adminstration, Magnolia CMS administration and DB2 and MariaDB support. Although in a third line support role, I also provide a high level of second line support skills - investigating incidents, shell scripting and problem and incident handling.

Support roles on numerous large scale IT accounts, the largest of which was responsibility for the ongoing 2nd line support and development of the DWP's Customer Information System (CIS) - a technically challenging and constantly evolving n-Tiered enterprise system. Very much a hands on role it required extensive technical abilities, but operating within a small team also required the ability to develop effective relationships with customers, project managers, systems architects and developers to implement solutions that met current and future requirements whilst keeping within time and budget constraints.

Support for multiple DWP contracts across various technologies both legacy and cutting edge. Roles include developing software utilising ADS, Windows Server support, XML data handling, IBM XI50 Data Power build, configuration and support, Websphere architecture, deployment and support, advance Unix tooling, Oracle DB support.
