Analysed unsecured and secured lending applications whilst communicating with all parties involved. Issued general/life insurance agreements to customers. Onboarded retail clients and entities (KYC,CDD &AML experience). Gained my Career Qualified in Banking Certificate (CQIB) from FINSIA while in this role. Maintained customers’ accounts to help with RBNZ regulations and ultimately improve the customers’ financial position. Underwrote secured lending legislation up to my qualification.

I oversaw grant funding and raising capital to achieve the organisations vision. This entailed applying for grants, collaborating with decision makers/grant advisers, and assuring the accountability of the grants. I also implemented systemization within the charity to make the organisation scalable throughout New Zealand. Towards the end of my tenure, I oversaw the development and implementation of a new CRM to the team to improve business relationships.

I had the privilege of completing my summer internship at Anexa Vets head office in Morrinsville. I was based in the finance department and was given the project brief of "implementing a system for better business asset management and capital reinvestment.’ While on my internship I created a CapEx request form for the company, carried out financial analysis of previous CapEx assets to see if they were a success to the company and investigated and developed an asset ID index for the company. I was also exposed to their ERP platforms such as MYOB Advanced and Anexa’s Veterinary data bank- all aiding to my experience.
