As a Line Up editor I collect and distribute information to writers while organizing the rundown of the show -- ensuring the timing and editorial flow are maintained. I assist the Producer in determining editorial direction and work-flow management. I also liaison with Executive Producers and Producers to ensure the core philosophy of the editorial edict is adhered to. This is a continually shifting line. My primary role was as an undercover investigator conducting investigations to combat theft, drug dealing and breaches in corporate security, I would pose as a common worker and observe targets and then craft reports used in court by clients to prosecute offenders.
