Currently leading the Integration Quality team—a widely distributed group of 10 empathetic, collaborative engineers focused on ownership, maintenance, and quality of over 250 integrations with 3rd party APIs via the Zapier Developer Platform. Hired and rapidly onboarded a brand new squad of early career engineers onto this team within a month, enabling us to reach our quarterly goal of saving $750k worth of annual recurring revenue by preventing customer churn in Integration usage. Between ever-shifting APIs, deprecations, customer requests, and emergent issues from stakeholders it requires constant reprioritzation and careful balancing between workstreams to maintain the team's focus.Previously led the Tables team. Hired and managed a well rounded team from 2 to 7 engineers as a part of Zapier's New Products initiative–"a startup within a startup"–to rapidly iterate on a new visual database product to take it from prototype to publicly available in 20 months. Collaborated closely with a product manager & designer to prioritize our roadmap with a radical focus on customer need, going from 50 to 1000 active customers within 6 months. Led a small, nimble team focused on creating Zapier experiences in third party product. Developed and maintained a Zapier Chrome Extension and powered Meta's Business Integrations experience. Facilitated developer relationships with business partners like Slack, Notion, Facebook/Meta, and Google to enable customer use cases in our product.During this time I also directed the PIE (Path Into Engineering) program at Zapier, a 6 month long program to facilitate cohorts moving into their first software engineering roles.
