This August, I'm taking on the 186-mile Pan-Mass Challenge bike ride across Massachusetts, https://egifts.pmc.org/CM0733 . My goal is to raise critical funds for cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute while honoring my mom's courageous fight against multiple myeloma. Though she can't ride alongside me, I'll carry her spirit as I pedal to keep the memory of our family bike rides alive and fuel breakthrough science that will help her and many others impacted by cancer. I'm inspired by her unwavering strength and hope you'll join me in making a difference.I have over a decade of experience solving technical problems, and have a knack for finding ways to get solutions delivered resulting in increased profits of $XMM.My responsibilities have spanned the full stack of data science: ingesting raw data, setting up EL+T pipelines, building linear, tree-based, and deep models, or, dependening on the circumstances, delivering products with no ML at all, productionzing and deploying the resulting machine learning or optimization product or service, and designing intuitive front ends for my business partners.I'm also active on the recruiting and mentoring fronts, and have done outreach with multiple external outlets.Currently I'm working on a couple of side projects to improve accessibility to and increase trustworthiness of large language models.Prior to working in tech, I was a theoretical physicist.
