In the role of Software Tester, I regularly perform the following:- Functional testing to verify the functionality of a feature is matching the specified requirements.- Smoke tests to ensure the basic functionality of the system under test is working as expected.- Regression testing to verify consistent functionality of the system while new features and bug fixes are incorporated.- Negative testing to confirm that unwanted input is handled in a graceful manner.- API testing to ensure data is being transferred as expected when executing HTTP requests.- Creating and maintaining testing documentation including regression test documents, QA process documents, bug reports, testing checklists.- Working as part of a team within an Agile development environment using a scrum methodology.- Work independently and accomplish tasks in an independent manner without direct supervision.- Testing on iOS and Android devices, as well as Windows and MacOs devices.Additional skills as a software tester include:- Tricentis automation specialist certification using the Tricentis Tosca testing automation tool.- Ranorex testing automation certification using the Ranorex testing automation tool.- Experience using Java Selenium.
