Roles & ResponsibilitiesEnsure the office has a professional and effective level of administrative support to assist the teams in undertaking their roles. This includes co-ordinating the teams day to day activities, post, travel arrangements and resources such as computers, equipment, office supplies, and other tools and third party resources. Responsible for office induction of new staff and health and safety procedures. Establish and maintain efficient office administration systems for the team and maintain electronic filing for all reports, briefs and correspondence. Undertake team, directorate, HR, Finance and other corporate reporting requirements as necessary and directed. Also undertake knowledge, data and records management systems and processes, ensuring consistency and continuity. Assist with the implementation of projects, processes and policies ensuring organisational reporting cycles and outputs are met. Arrange internal and external meetings with appropriate resources for the team, other teams and the wider office, including technically proficient usage of cameras, projection systems, whiteboards, meeting software, audio equipment and related tools. Produce minutes and records of meetings and workgroups to a high standard. Produce documents, reports, presentations, electronic communications and other desk top publishing for the team and office.Co-ordinate any budgets, accounts, invoices and resources as required.Area Team Co-ordinators to interrogate and analyse management information systems and report progress and performance on major projects and programmes as requested by the team.Where required assist with Meetings & Decisions (MAD), making sure papers are loaded onto MAD for the Management Team and Investment Review Group meeting and making sure the agendas are accurate.

Roles & Responsibiltiies-To support and assist the Design for Security Consultants-To assist the Design for Security Consultants’ in providing all Greater Manchester Local Authority Planners and licencing depts. with a crime prevention design facility that imparts timely, effective and risk commensurate crime prevention advice to help safeguard their communities and reduce the incidence and fear of crime.-To assist the Design for Security Consultants’ in achieving developments that reflects practical, effective and risk commensurate crime prevention measures and interventions. -To support the force both centrally and at divisional level in they’re efforts to promote crime prevention in general and the security of the police estate in particular. -To provide technical, legislative or research information to underpin the advice issued by the Design for Security Consultants’.-Under the supervision of the Design for Security Consultants’ undertake site visits to collate background information in order to assist in the preparation of reports provided by Design for Security and be responsible for written reports working to deadlines and prioritisng work as required as directed by the line manager. - Provide 3 D visuals, design advice and solutions to assist in the preparation of reports provided by Design for Security. - To assist the Unit in its work with the Force Counter Terrorist Security Advisors (CTSAs) - To promote innovative approaches to design led crime prevention.- Work closely with academic institutions on crime prevention in the built environment, in particular with the joint GMP/University of Salford Design Against Crime Solution Centre.- Undertake site visits to collate background information in order to assist in the preparation of reports provided by Design for Security and be responsible for written reports working to deadlines and prioritisng work as required as directed by the line manager.
