BLM is a Legal 500 recognised firm in the field of social housing law and I worked as a Legal Officer in the Housing Management Team acting on behalf of local authorities and registered providers of social housing. I advised on all aspects of tenancy matter including possession, civil injunctions, gas injunctions, succession, lease enquiries, policy issues, issues relating to notice of seeking possession, committals, access issues and tenancy fraud. In addition to housing law I also dealt with a caseload of employers and public liability. I handled my own caseload from instruction through to trial when I handed over to counsel of Higher Court Advocates, While at BLM I was part of the team which won the Liverpool Law Society Property Team of the Year 2015.

I started work here as a office junior but gradually progressed through to be senior clerk for the firm. After a course of study I was made a Accredited Police Station Representative. I dealt with defendants at police stations, handled my own Magistrates Court caseload, handled a serious crime caseload and as senior clerk was responsible for ensuring cases ran correctly and to a high standard throughout all the firm's offices in the Liverpool/Chester area,
