Technology professional with 29 years of experience in software development and 15 years in management, with a strong background in object-oriented technologies(java), relational databases, and automation. In the early 2000's I helped to build a Digital Asset Management system which started as an internal-only application, then extended external, and then global. The system was based on a vendor platform, and customized for our use cases and needs. After 7 years in operation, we replaced this system with a newer one which improved the backend services, as well as modernizing the UI. I then moved on to support a global product approval system for 3 years, after which I moved into the Parks online space for Disney Parks leading sustainment and enhancement projects for the various brands of the company. In the past 2 years, I have been working in the System Reliability Engineering team in Parks as an Automation Manager, in partnership with the greater SRE Team, and multiple application studios.I have a knack for digging into problems, and researching and solving challenging issues in elegant ways, and a knack for improving team performance through frequent individual feedback loops.
