Leading the Energy & Engineering function for the Group & UK. Accountabilities include Engineering Design, Energy, Petroleum Engineering, Automation, Engineering Project Delivery, Building Surveying and Structural Engineering

Led our maintenance operation within the M25 with accountability for delivering planned and reactive M&E, fabric and grounds maintenance to 500 stores, 6 dot com centres and a number of other concessions. To achieve this complex delivery I led a team of 10 managers, 130 static and mobile technicians over three business streams.

Accountable for a team of 10 Managers and 90 Technicians to deliver planned and reactiveM&E, fabric and grounds maintenance to 720 Express and Metro stores within the South of England and Wales

Accountable for the delivery of mobile M&E and fabric contracts to Barclays, CBRE, Arcadia Group and Capita Symonds with an annual value in excess of £5mLed the business development team for the region with accountability for the completion of PQQ’s, tender presentations and bid completions.Successfully instigated a project management delivery stream for the region with a £3m order book for year 1

Accountable for the delivery of Wales’ first two Arbed external refurbishment schemes with a combined project value of £13m delivering an 18% returnAccountable for financial control, programming, procurement, health and safety, risk and subcontractor management for a team of over 100 directly employed and subcontract staff.

Accountable for the delivery of the main improvement works and door installations to the £10m per annum RCT Homes partnership in South WalesResolved issues around poor productivity of labour output and actively cut financial waste from the project which increased margin from 4% to 10.2%

Accountable for the delivery of £5m measured term contract for mechanical, electrical, building fabric maintenance and project work to the University of West of England estate managing a team of over 50 engineers, administrators and managers;Instigated a project management stream of work that turned over £1m in the first year with a margin of 16%;Increased overall contract profitability from 3.4% to budgeted 10% whilst proactively resolving issues with aged debt and WIP of £500k and £600k respectively;Brought a number of services in house to enable greater margins on the work to be realised whilst at the same time improving the service quality;

Accountable for the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance, security and the provision of full FM services to five contracts across South Wales to a value of £3m;Accountable for budgetary control, risk management as well as energy, environmental and subcontractor management

Accountable for the delivery of various mechanical, electrical and building fabric projects across the GCB estate. Accountabilities included producing the technical and commercial specifications as well as tender analysis and appointment.
