I am a Design Engineer at TECHNIA UK, working among a team of experienced engineers to design innovative solutions across a range of engineering sectors. Working on a consultancy basis I have delivered solutions from parametric CAD models for a medical design, through to full prototype production for a hydraulic application. I am competent in a range of engineering software packages, such as CATIA and SolidWorks for CAD, as well as ABAQUS and SIMULIA for FEA. Having the analysis experience in addition to my mechanical knowledge gives me the skillset to both design and validate potential solutions. My background is aerospace engineering in which I obtained a master’s degree. During my studies I covered a range of topics looking at engineering disciplines such as flight, stress & dynamics, and spacecraft design, among many others. The culmination of my work was recognised by my university, UKSEDS, BIS and the IAC who selected my academic papers for an award and multiple publications.
