  Technical lead, responsible for planning and successful execution of acoustics-related test programmes both on-site in a World-class anechoic wind tunnel facility and off-site in acoustic flight trials.On-site test work involving specialist aerodynamic and mechanical understanding to coordinate the mechanical design, manufacture and installation of rig and measurement hardware in the facility, including appropriate review processes. In-depth knowledge of acoustic instrumentation used to commission and operate high-channel count recording systems. Excellent working knowledge of acoustic data analysis techniques utilised to provide good quality data to customers on-site during test programmes.Execution of off-site trials requiring an in-depth understanding of practical issues associated with making high channel-count acoustic measurements without support of local services (ie. in fields). Experience of aircraft logging systems, tracking systems (DGPS) and general aircraft considerations for flight trials.Leadership of small teams, continual customer engagement and excellent communication skills demonstrated at all times.
