Overall responsibility for asset management of ThamesWey's district heat, power and chilled water generation, distribution and supply network apparatus. Dynamic management of energy assets to maximise system availability, efficiency, minimise life cycle costs and ensure the protection of health and safety of personnel and the environment. Development and implementation of Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules through the effective deployment of staff and contract resources. Management and control of projects and tasks additional to Operation and Maintenance activities, including plant replacement, new customer connections and network extensions. Responsible for the performance of the Engineering Services team including day to day management of engineering personnel, performance appraisal, and staff training, development and retention. Co-ordinating staff resources to provide out-of-hours and emergency response cover. Appointing and coordinating specialist contractors and suppliers to ensure quality of workmanship and materials, timely delivery of services and best value. Preparation of annual Operational Budgets with regard to the Operation and Maintenance service plan for Thameswey Energy Ltd. Financial responsibility for management and control of purchasing and procurement procedures to minimise costs, and maximise profitability and value. Receive and approve RAMS. Maintenance and updating of energy asset registers. Periodic review and updating of emergency response and contingency/service resilience plans • Ensuring record systems are updated andresponsibility for regular reporting of operational activities, health and safety, progress reports, condition surveys, meter data and key service performance indicators
