About Chris Yount
Following my passion for solving business problems, I am looking to expand my board advisory work to a broader set of companies. Areas of special expertise include family business issues, both buy and sell side M&A, brand marketing, manufacturing/distribution efficiency, corporate turnaround, general management and strategic direction.I am a battle tested CEO and board advisor having taken the reins of my 3rd generation family business in the depth of the financial crisis with bankruptcy looming. Working with my seasoned team, I developed a comprehensive turnaround strategy to right size the business and grow. The strategy was ultimately successful, launching the company to record breaking profits year after year until the strategic acquisition of the company in 2018. I stayed on to advise and complete the integration work with our new owners and have recently retired to focus on independent advising full time.
