Current* Applications of IT: supply chain; electronic commerce; manufacturing; business intelligence; infrastructure (servers, storage, backup/recovery, network, telecommunications, security, facilities); IT (organization/processes/applications).* Complexities: new and unstable technologies; advanced technologies; simultaneous business process and system change; multi-system planning; systems integration of existing and new applications; direct responsibility for budgets up to $12,000,000 (applications) & $60,000,000 (infrastructure); large user bases up to 15,000; adverse business conditions; complicated risk management; diverse and remote cross-functional teams; wide spread geography; extensive team travel.* Degrees of Freedom: imposed budgets; imposed timelines; regulatory compliance (PCI DRR, SOX, HIPAA, ISO).* People Management: large team sizes up to 100; diverse mix of stakeholders including senior management, vendors, and industry experts; change programs; resource allocation; staffing and role development; team building; conflict resolution.* Methodologies: Project Management Lifecycle Methodologies (PMBOK, SDLC, Program Investment); Technology Development Management Methodologies (Agile Scrum, several Waterfall models, testing methods); ITIL.* Processes: PM planning and management processes including complicated time/schedule management, large budgets, extensive requirements set; multiple interrelated work streams; complex risk management; RACI; large scale stakeholder management; utilization of offshore resources; change management; configuration management; release management.
