HSE / Heavy Lift OperationsAccountabilities and Responsibilities:Oversee all complex lifts carried out by over 65 cranes of all types and sizes (25t-1000t SWL)• Ensuring that all cranes and loose lifting gear are audited to Republic of Kazakhstan legislation, Agip KCO standards or approved contractor standards, whichever are most demanding, in order to verify safe working conditions at the various locations where work is carried out for the project.• Producing completed audits with recommendations for each contract company at each location.• The auditing of vessels in the project marine fleet each year prior to those vessels going to work on the project.• Ensuring all lifting equipment being used by the contract companies is visually inspected every 6 months by a competent person within their own organization or by an approved third party inspection company and that the colour code for that period is applied.• Ensuring that the competency of contractors’ “responsible persons” is verified.• Participating in incident investigations involving lifting operations.• Interfacing with Republic of Kazakhstan Regulatory Agencies as required• Monitoring the various contracting companies personnel onsite to ensure best industry practices are being followed. • Monitoring and advising the various contracting companies in their training programs relating to Lifting Operations.
