After 12 weeks of full-time development, the prototype of the game won a Jury Spotlight award and was nominated for Best Game Design and Public Choice awards at the Gotland Game Conference 2024.- Designed and implemented UI functionality for all major game systems, focusing on creating a polished and frictionless play experience.- Implemented industry-standard localization practices for all in-game text to prepare for translation in later development.- Created data structures using ScriptableObjects to manage all major game content, and created menus and utility tools using Unity Editor Scripting to simplify their implementation.- Created a customized Twine to Unity importer to accelerate iteration for narrative designers.- Coordinated the creation and quality control of builds for biweekly external playtests and the first major conference showing. -
