Technology Transfer Fellow (Coatings Development) at SPECIFIC, specialising in the formulation, development, and analysis of new resin and coating systems.My current interests include sol-gels, the utilisation of computational chemical modelling as a tool to aid in the formulation of new coating systems, along with the study of Electron beam and UV curable coatings. I have experience within academia and industrial laboratory environments with a background in Chemistry and Analytical Science. I have recently completed my EngD where I worked with Beckers Industrial Coatings on my Research Project, "Alternative Formulations for Paints of the Future". This project involved the formulation and synthesis of novel resins and coating systems, as well as the determination of degradation pathways through periodic analysis. My project also allowed me to explore potential uses for computational chemical modelling within coatings development, which I have continued to research in my current role.
