Currently I am the Supervisor of Test Engineering for the Marine Turbine and Gear Test Facility at Northrup Grumman Marine Systems. I work on the design, construction and Testing of Main Propulsion Systems and Power Generation Systems for current and future Aircraft Carriers and Submarines. Previously, I was a Quality Engineer in the same location.I was previously a Structural Materials Representative (SMR) acting as a Quality Assurance contractor to the State of California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) on the Self Anchoring Suspension Bridge construction project. This bridge is replacing the existing Oakland Bay Bridge span from Oakland to Yerba Buena Island. As SMR, I ensure all materials and fabrication meet the specifications outlined in California's Standard Specifications.Previously, I worked for Lam Research as a Mechanical Engineer/ Project Manager to improve and design gas delivery systems for the production of microchips in a plasma etch process.I was formerly a Comissioned Officer in the US Navy.
