Director & Chief Executive of a leading UK Trade Association in the Fluid Power sector. Founder member of the UK Motion Control Alliance (UK MCA). Currently sits on the Board of the UK Trade Association Forum (TAF) and of the Engineering & Machinery Alliance. (EAMA). Appointed TAF Chairman between July 2015 and July 2017.BFPA was formed in 1959, formerly known as AHEM, to promote the technical, trade and commercial interests of British Manufacturers and Suppliers of Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment. It also incorporates the British Fluid Power Distributors Association (BFPDA). It is now one of the UK's leading Engineering Trade bodies with a strong role in training, market research & statistics and in the UK / EU standards arena.Day to day responsibility for all financial, strategic and operational aspects of the business resides with the CEO supported by a team of relevant experts across a variety of disciplines including Technical Services & EU standards work, Marketing & Statistical Data, Commercial & Promotional activities, Public Affairs & Lobbying plus International co-operation.
