• Assisted Village Park Home Construction Managers in planning and executing building construction. Met with clients to review their home construction progress.• Oversaw Certificate of Occupancy inspections with Town Building Department officials. Assisted with bank loan draws.• Oversaw the daily management and successful completion of fifty home construction projects in three of Village Park Homes newly developed communities.• Managed the distribution of foundation plans and building permits to all critical parties. Constructed and modified critical home components prior to final customer occupancy.

First mate with Captain Steve Ranney for chartered offshore fishing business on the Gullah Gal.

• Worked as an interpretive naturalist giving guided kayak tours in the Salt Marshes of Hilton Head Island. Ran chartered kayak-fishing trips.• Worked as a Reservation Specialist: Duties included renting kayaks, renting boats, booking trips, as well as assistant guide on environmental tours.

Had the opportunity to work for two weeks with each of the major subcontractors involved in the construction of homes ranging from $180,000 to $500,000. Included landscape, road building, concrete, electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall and painting subcontractors.

Worked maintaining trails found on the 4,000 acres of islands owned or managed by the Land Trust on the St. Lawrence River. Constructed and maintained hiking trails on Grindstone Island, created and installed signage for these trails, organized fundraising events, as well as organized mailings for the TILT office.
