About Chris Casey
During & after college, I became a USPTA Tennis Instructor at The Maidstone Club in East Hampton, Doral Resort & Spa in Miami and La Quinta Resort & Spa in the Palm Springs area.After growing up on the courts I wanted to wear a suit and close deals on the phones so I became a Software Sales executive for 7+ years working at Active.com, WebsideStory (now Adobe), & Omniture (now Adobe).Because of my tennis background and connections I had the great opportunity for a 1-year contract as Event Manager to help execute the Mercedes-Benz sponsorship of ATP Men's Tennis. After, I pursued my love of movies and became a Personal Assistant to Randall Emmett from Emmett/Furla Films (EFF) where I worked on 8+ feature films. After 2 years with EFF I decided to work as a freelance Producer and Production assistant on movies, commercials and TV shows. After much needed rest and relaxation, I wanted to work again and the Universe put me in touch with Scott Kaufman and I was hired by HumanTelligence, LLC as VP Business Development to help grow his base of corporate connections. After helping HumanTelligence, I worked with Andrew Johner and his feature documentary called, "Electronic Awakening" as Marketing Director, helping to bring the film to over 300+ Festivals and Cinemas Word-wide.In 2015, I had the chance to return to Tennis by joining up with Discovery Land Company and Mike Meldman as Head Tennis Professional to help grow Tennis & Pickleball activity at his 2 locations in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, El Dorado Golf and Beach Club and Chileno Bay Golf and Beach Club. I successfully built the momentum to help put El Dorado and Chileno Bay Park Activities at the top of the Discovery Land Company’s portfolio of 25 properties.Late December of 2019, I left to work for one of our DLC club members and his company, eci Software Solutions to leverage my background and people skills and create a new adventures for our family in Europe.Due to COVID and European Lockdowns my ECI contact was not renewed and we decided it was best to return to the USA after 12 years abroad on 12/21/2020.After exploring new options it was best for me to return to Discovery Land Company where I was received with open arms.Specialties: Enterprise Software Sales, Marketing and promotions, Event Management, Tennis Professional, Movie Production, Hollywood Personal Assistant, Enterprise SaaS Consultant
