About Chris Cranie

I'm an experienced IT Director, with specialisation in IT strategy and IT budgeting. Many years ago I started my career in IT support, before then moving to a Head of IT role, all in the non-profit sector. After a short time working in the private sector, in 2012 I co-founded a successful IT Services company supplying UK non-profit organisations which grew substantially, thanks to the fantastic people I had the opportunity to work with. I have strong experience as a virtual IT Director for small businesses and multi-site non-profits with up to 300 employees.After many years in this role, I took a career break for some time with my family. My new company, ManageMyMSP, is a small company providing practical, actionable IT advice for UK and EU small businesses and non-profits. I am able to work alongside your existing IT suppliers and internal staff.I work with my clients in a data-driven way, calmly assessing the requirements and working with your IT teams and stakeholders to understand your IT holistically. I understand IT budgets and am competent in data analysis, allowing me to present findings to different stakeholders in an accessible way.I work remotely from within the EU, my family is based outside the UK. I am experienced in this way of working and have done so successfully for a number of years.
